Edinburgh Rugby won the European Challenge Cup in 2014, their only major European trophy to date. They have competed regularly in European competitions since the 1990s, reaching multiple Challenge Cup finals and competing in the Heineken Cup/Champions Cup, though they have not won the elite competition. The club consistently qualifies for European tournaments through strong domestic Scottish performance.
