    Scotland has won three Grand Slams in rugby union: 1925, 1933, and 1990. The 1990 Grand Slam, achieved under coach Ian McGeechan, remains their most recent and is celebrated as one of the greatest achievements in Scottish rugby history. A Grand Slam requires winning all five matches in the Home Nations (now Six Nations) Championship.

    Scotland has won the Six Nations Grand Slam twice, in 1990 and 1984. The 1990 Grand Slam team, coached by Jim Telfer, defeated all five opponents including England in the final match at Murrayfield. Scotland has not won the Grand Slam since 1990.
