Scotland has won the Grand Slam in the Six Nations three times: 1925, 1933, and 1990. The 1990 Grand Slam, achieved under coach Jim Telfer, remains their most recent success and is particularly celebrated as it secured the Five Nations Championship before Italy's addition to the tournament.
