Edinburgh Rugby's greatest European achievement was reaching the Heineken Cup final in 2000, losing to Leicester Tigers. They have won multiple Anglo-Welsh Cup titles and have consistently qualified for European competitions, though they have not won the primary European trophy despite several deep runs in the Heineken Cup and Champions Cup throughout their history.
