Edinburgh Rugby has won the Heineken Cup (now Champions Cup) once, in 1999, defeating Toulouse in the final. Their overall European Cup record includes multiple semi-final appearances and regular participation in the competition across decades. They have been runners-up in the European final on several occasions but have not added to their single trophy win since 1999.
