Edinburgh Rugby, founded in 1998, has produced notable international players including Chris Paterson, Greig Laidlaw, and Stuart Hogg, while competing in the Pro14 and European competitions. The club won the Anglo-Welsh Cup in 2004 and has consistently challenged for domestic titles, establishing itself as one of Scotland's leading professional rugby unions based at Murrayfield Stadium.
