Doddie Weir was a legendary Scottish lock who earned 61 caps (1990-2000) and captained Scotland, helping them win the 1999 Five Nations Championship and reach the 1991 Rugby World Cup semi-final. He was known for his powerful lineout play and leadership, becoming one of Scotland's most decorated players. Weir later became an MND awareness campaigner after his diagnosis in 2016.
