Scotland has never won the Rugby World Cup, with their best performance being a quarter-final exit in 1991. The Scots have qualified for every World Cup since 1987 and reached the quarter-finals on four occasions (1991, 2003, 2011, 2019), but have consistently failed to progress to the semi-finals stage.
