Chris Paterson holds the record for most Scotland caps with 110 appearances between 2000 and 2011. He is followed by Rory Lamont with 85 caps and Scott Murray with 86 caps. Other notable long-serving players include John Barclay and Stuart Hogg, both among Scotland's most capped international rugby players.
